Thick tailed gecko
Scientific Name: Underwoodisaurus milii
Description: Pink to purple with multiple cream spots. Tail is black with 5 to 6 white bands
Habitat: Found in rocky areas across the south of Australia.
About: They are nocturnal, and shelter underneath rocks or in burrows during the day. They feed on insects and small vertebrates.
Along with some other geckos this animal licks their eyes after eating. Unusually they group together in their retreats during the day, presumably to keep warm. Source: Wikipedia
