Tilligerry Habitat 9th July Open Day Highlights
Human Koala
We muster in Tanilba Bay School grounds forming an outline of a koala from 11:30 until 12 midday when the drone takes off and preserves this historic moment in Tilligerry history forever. Lollies for the kids who take part.
Come and see the film our kids have made – “The journey of Steve the Koala”
What happens when you get 800 local students colouring in a cartoon animation? The result is a wonderful cartoon called the “The Journey of Steve the Koala”.
We are showing the cartoon twice at 2pm and 4pm. You can also hear from our friend Lee from Port Stephens Council talk about how the film was made and all things koala.
See the results of this magnificent effort by the 800 children from:
- Tanilba Bay Public School
- St Michael’s primary School
- Tomaree Public School
